In a previous life, she had a 30 year career as a federal prosecutor.

She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts, with a focus on writing, archaeology, Australian history and Indigenous studies.

Andrea is the 2023 winner of the Jennifer Burbidge Short Story Award. This national award is offered through the Williamstown Literary Festival. Her winning story, The Neighbour, has been published in hard copy in the festival anthology, The Adas 2023, and is also available electronically on the festival’s website.
